2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Service/Owner manual
2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Service/Owner manual - Optional high-tech features such as adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance and lane departure warning systems also give the Outlander a few advantages over many of its competitors, and there is a plug-in hybrid models coming later in 2014. There are still some weak spots, however. The of both the conventional engine excited for this class, and third-row seats remained narrow, so it's really only useful in an emergency and definitely only for the kids. Another consideration is the Mitsubishi dealer network is relatively small, because dealers are few and far between in a certain area of the country.
ES comes standard with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder, 16-inch steel wheels, fog lamps, heated mirrors, rear privacy glass, full power accessories, automatic climate control, split-folding seats 60/40 second row slides and reclines, seat 50/50-split third row, tilt steering wheel-and-telescoping, cruise control and a six-speaker sound system with CD player.
Optional electronic safety features including lane departure warning and forward collision-warning/mitigation system. The latter can sense impending frontal collision, warn the driver and, if the driver fails to react, applying pressure brake lights followed by a full panic braking, potentially bringing Outlander stop if initially traveling under 20 mph.
2014 Mitsubishi Outlander is offered with two powertrains. ES and SE both get a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 166 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. A continuously variable with A/T (CVT) standard. ES models are front-wheel drive only, while the SE can be had with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
